Description: This program is designed to develop awareness in the viewer of why pre-trip inspections are required and the potential consequences of not doing a through inspection every time a bus is to carry students. In this reenactment of actual occurrences, a field trip ends prematurely with an overturned bus and bleeding students. We go back through the events that lead up to the tragedy. We see that the driver did a poor pre-trip inspection, not only on the bus, but also of himself. During the unfolding story, we examine each element of the pre-trip inspection and discuss the “what if’s”.
